Connecting English, A skills workbook Year 7 addresses the language and literacy strands of the Australian Curriculum: English in a workbook format that is ideal for both classroom use and homework. Each unit examines a particular skill, with an Understanding section containing explanations and exercises to help students grasp the theory, and an Applying section that lets them put it into practice with real-world texts and activities. Texts in the Applying section are drawn from identified cross-curricular areas, and there is also a set of activities to connect directly with the current area of classwork.
